Kerveli is a small piece of paradise so we can quite understand if you find it difficult to pull yourself away but maybe you fancy having a look around the island or further afield.
Renting a car is the perfect way to see the island and discover some of the delights that this gem in the Aegean has to offer. Perhaps you would like to take a trip to the bustling harbour front and World Heritage Site, Pythagorion. You can sit right at the harbour and sip a Frappe whilst you watch the fishermen and yacht owners go about their daily chores.
A little further afield is the very picturesque harbour of Kokkari. Nestling below the mountains it is a very pleasant trip to the North side of the island.
Manolates is the famous pottery village in the Ambelos mountain range. A steep and winding road takes you up to this beautiful, bohemian and pedestrian village. A great place for lunch.
Or you can just discover your own small village and sit in the square having lunch and watch the locals go about their daily life. People watching are a very popular pastime.
Samos is also a great place to escape from with regular boats to the biblical island of Patmos being a popular trip as is a day trip to Turkey and the town of Kusadasi and the Roman ruins at Ephesus.
Even on Samos things can change so for up to date information of possible excursions please ask the hotel staff who are always willing to give their recommendations and reception can help with any bookings you need to make.
